My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend, while she had a cheer competition in Dalton. This was a great find, and away from all the other hotels by the convention center that were sure to be crazy loud with kids running around. The rooms had an adorable rustic/industrial feel and were much more spacious than we expected. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave in the kitchenette so we could reheat leftovers from eating out. The shops and restaurants on site were adorable with many cute photo ops. The only small cons I can think of are: 1. Noise: I felt the doors were very loud as people opened and closed them. We were in room 8 and could hear the main door open and close all night, as well as room doors. The train right behind the building does run until about 11pm. It also sounded like a maid service was running a vacuum in the middle of the night. If I stayed here again, I would bring a sound machine, and that should help the situation. 2. Miscellaneous: The other thing I would bring next time would be my pillow from home. I felt like the pillows were rather cheap (flat and poly fill) for how nice the place felt. The separate twin bed area was appreciated, but my daughter wished there was a nightstand for her books, water, etc. There is definitely room for it. The room provided shampoo and body wash, but no conditioner so we had to make a pit stop at Walgreens to get all the cheer hairspray/gel out of her hair. 3. My last suggestion would be for larger trash cans, especially in the kitchen. It was teeny tiny and one to go box filled it up. I would definitely stay here again if in the area, and I would recommend it for sure if you’re going to be in the area.

My wife and I stayed at the Loom Room Retreat for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The rooms are in like new condition and VERY clean! Having the atrium just outside our door for shopping and dinning was a huge plus! Why anyone would want to stay at a hotel/motel after seeing this place is beyond us...and the price is in line if not better than the local hotels/motels! And then the history of the building is evident everywhere...sooooo cool!

As an architect, I loved the adaptive reuse of this property from an old textile mill to a thriving residential complex including the short term stay units. We were there for 3 nights so the sleeping loft design allowed for a comfortable living room and enough of a kitchenette to suit our needs. So much better than a standard hotel room. Having the "food hall" within the complex was an added bonus.

We needed an overnight stop in Dalton. Comparing the Loom Room to a motel was no contest! Our accommodations were spotlessly clean, well appointed with a dreamy modern aesthetic. We were delighted! Dalton is a charming town with many great restaurant options.

Beautiful spot and great to see repurposed into loft hotels. Pros: The access is super easy from behind the mill. The rooms have a nice kitchenette with silverware, plates, glasses, etc. The microwave is nice as well. The upstairs bathroom is modern, the light does shine through the rest of the loft if you turn it on so that woke our crew up a few times. The proximity to the other restaurants like Trinity BBQ and Primitive make it a prime location for Dalton! There's also shopping, spas, bars like the waggle with indoor golf and more all right there. Cons: The rooms only have ductless units so the air is a little stagnant, and it being an older mill our allergies were acting up a little bit. The walls are also a little thin so we could hear our neighbors talking. Overall, great place and addition to Dalton!

Great hotel, prime location. We loved everything about this hotel except the beds. The building was great. The location was great. The beds were awful. All three beds left the three of us complaining about our backs each morning. Would love to stay here again if they would replace the mattresses.

This was such a unique experience and so different than the traditional hotels like Marriott. It was different being a self check in hotel with no concierge desk but the instructions were very simple and easy to follow. I do wish the the furniture was a little more comfortable and that the main tv was larger being on such a huge wall. I recommend you pay attention to the parking instructions they send via email. It was a little difficult finding in the evening as their was no lit up signs so it was harder to find. But overall, would consider staying here again on my next work trip.

Girls weekend in Dalton/chatanooga Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were some communication issues (email issues) and Loom Room went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. The room was fantastic, well appointed and comfortable. Highly recommended!!
